Life Project 4 Youth is an organization dedicated to the professional and social integration of Young Adults living in extreme poverty and exclusion.

To achieve this goal, LP4Y has set up entrepreneurial development centers known as Life Project Centers (LPCs) next to impoverished areas. In these LPCs, young adults commit as team members to join the “Professional Training for Entrepreneurs” (PTE) 5 days a week for 18 months, on average.

During this PTE, the Young Adults catch up on their education and receive training in English, IT and general knowledge. They also experience creating, developing and managing a micro-economic activity, which teaches them to take initiatives, hold responsibilities and become professional. They are also coached to further their personal skills and build their Life Project Plan.

Throughout the PTE, the Young Adults receive a weekly allowance, “Life Project Money,” which enables them to be autonomous and responsible, help their families, and save for the first steps of their social and professional integration.

Once they graduate from the “Professional Training for Entrepreneurs,” these Young Adults are able to fulfill their Life Project Plan: joining a company, creating their own small business, or embarking on further studies. More than 100 Young Adults have already successfully integrated into the professional world.

Now I have clearer goals for my future and for my family. Someday if I'll get released I already know what is my plan for my life to make it as good and productive as possible.
