Youth Inclusion International Forum (YIIF): Uniting Voices, Shaping Futures

Youth is not the future. It is the present.

In a world where 1.2 billion young people (ages 15–24) face exclusion, unemployment, climate crises, and forced migration, the Youth Inclusion International Forums (YIIF) are unique spaces where young people, businesses, institutions, and NGOs come together to co-create concrete solutions. Launched by Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y) in 2023, the YIIFs are much more than conferences: they are catalysts for action, laboratories for social innovation, and platforms to amplify voices that are too often ignored.

A global approach, local solutions

By 2025, YIIFs had expanded to 8 countries (India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Nepal, France, and the United States), with themes tailored to local challenges:

  • Decent work (Dhaka, Bangladesh)

  • Climate and inclusion (Jakarta, Indonesia; Manila, the Philippines)

  • Migration and resilience (Kathmandu, Nepal)

  • Technology and skills (New York, USA)

  • Gender and education (Paris, France)

  • Multi-stakeholder synergies for inclusion (Antananarivo, Madagascar)

Key figures for 2025:

✅ 600+ participants (youth, experts, decision-makers)

✅ 100+ organizations involved (NGOs, businesses, institutions)

✅ 20+ workshops co-created with young people

✅ Concrete solutions: digital platforms, investment funds for youth entrepreneurship, educational reforms, etc.

Why the YIIF?

Giving a voice to marginalized youth: Through powerful testimonials, collaborative workshops, and discussions, the YIIF sheds light on the realities faced by marginalized youth—whether they are grappling with poverty, discrimination, the effects of climate change, or the challenges of securing decent work.

Breaking down silos: By bringing together public, private, and civil society actors, the YIIF creates sustainable partnerships for systemic solutions.

For example:

In India, discussions on the inclusion of young women in the formal economy.
In the Philippines, workshops on climate disaster adaptation and circular entrepreneurship.
In New York, discussions on the impact of AI and sustainable skills for disadvantaged youth.

Inspiring action: Each edition concludes with concrete commitments—training, mentoring, pilot projects—to turn ideas into impact.
